What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

If you could have anything in life, what would it be? Financial freedom. A happy, fulfilled relationship / marriage. Your dream job. Great health. Travel the world. If you don’t have what you most desire, what’s stopping you? Do you feel you’re not good enough or deserving enough? Maybe you feel these desires are not reality, at least for most people. What if I told you that you could have anything you want in life? Would it require commitment and effort on your part? Absolutely! Will there be times when you’re discouraged and want to quit? Yes! However, if you knew you could not fail, would you go for it?

I love helping others not only envision their best life, but make it a reality. It all starts with the mindset. Believing a better life is possible, is the first step. You may not know how you’ll get there, but you believe it can happen. This involves releasing those limiting beliefs that you’re not good enough or deserving enough to have what you desire. Often, these beliefs are formed early in life from our experiences and relationships. Creating a safe space for reflection is essential. This can be the most difficult part of the journey. It’s also the most liberating.

Once the belief of possibility is there, it’s time to create the vision. Being crystal clear on what you desire is essential. When the vision is tied to an emotion, that’s when the magic starts to happen. How will you feel when you are healthy and fit? What will your energy level be like? What will you be able to physically do? If it’s your dream job, how will you emotionally feel? How will you show up for others. How will you show up for yourself? What will you be able to accomplish?

Once the vision is laser focused, it’s time to set short and long term goals. Your goals must be specific, realistic, time bound, active (what you’re going to do versus what you’re going to stop doing), and relevant (what you want to do versus what you feel you should do). Your goals should be challenging but doable. You’re setting yourself up for success, remember?!

Lastly, you need accountability. An accountability partner will keep you focused and on task, when you feel frustrated and lose motivation. Life happens! Even if you’re a positive person, challenges arise. The key is to consider challenges as learning experiences instead of failures. A strong accountability partner will lift you up, encourage you, and be your biggest cheerleader. They will also call you out when you’re making excuses.
